Pictures of James Griffing and Augusta Goodrich

There are only two pictures with James and Augusta appearing together. The first is their wedding photograph. The second was taken approximately twenty years later in which a good friend and neighbor, Mrs. Pound, appears with them.

There are only two solo images of James. The first was taken in the summer of 1852 just prior to his graduation from Wesleyan University. The second was taken about 1880.

There are three solo images of Augusta; none are dated. The first of these was probably taken in late 1864 while Augusta visited with family ad friends in Owego, New York. The second was either taken in early 1865 before she left Owego to return to Kansas, or was taken a year or two later on a subsequent visit. The last image was taken in Topeka and probably dates to about 1870.
