February 27, 1867 In school. Sat up the other night with Pearson who had an attack of delirium tremens. Charles Greene people have left without paying rent or tuition. Confound such people. We had unusually rainy winter. Fire some time ago burnt the buildings opposite Bender's brick -- probably set on fire by somebody. Wagging along a little with my school. Got Willie Henderson this week. May get more. I hope so. Oh God, prosper me.
