Augusta Goodrich was the eldest child of Silas and Mary Ann Goodrich. Silas was
the son of Eliakim Goodrich who, with his cousin Noah Goodrich, purchased the
land known as Goodrich Settlement west of Owego, New York in the late 1790's.
